Why choose us?

Because we are psychologists.  Everything we do involves applying psychology to the workplace and we regularly update our knowledge to incorporate best practice.  Our overall aim is to enable an organisation to learn more about its current or prospective employees.  This greater awareness can help an organisation understand and predict how an employee is likely to behave.  We are also passionate about employees learning more about themselves; a greater self-awareness will lead to a more enriched personal development process.

Whether it is a large scale graduate assessment centre or an individual coaching intervention, Lakeland Capabilities can help you meet your assessment and development needs. We work in a holistic way, starting at the very roots of the process. This ensures that our intervention matches the needs of your organisation, following and guiding on the evolution of your employees.

Our approach

Lakeland Capabilities is passionate about providing a bespoke and personalised service to organisations.  We focus on the core competencies that are relevant to your organisation and then tailor a program that best suits your requirements, using a wide range of bespoke or ‘off-the-shelf’ assessment and development tools and one-to-one coaching.

We believe in research – in using evidence-based tools that have been proven to work and add value.  This means that we create solutions which bring about sustainable impact for both the individuals and the wider organisation.

We are ethical in our approach – we adhere to the codes of conduct set out by the British Psychological Society and the Health Care Professions Council.  We care a great deal about how we interact with our clients.
